QAware ranks among the top 3% of companies with the highest levels of satisfaction regarding salary and family-friendly policies.

The way we work together determines whether we can deliver excellent results. We believe that trust is the foundation of everything we do. That is why we are delighted that our company culture is currently being recognized through kununu’s awards for salary satisfaction and family-friendliness.

Only about three percent of all companies meet the criteria for these seals. For us, this is confirmation that our commitment to integrity resonates with people.

 

Fairness Without Negotiation Skills

A major source of frustration for many people is often the lack of transparency in compensation. Often, it’s not actual performance that determines pay, but how well someone can negotiate. We have deliberately chosen a different model. We rely on a fair, custom-developed process based on performance rather than noise.

This also means that we take responsibility when external circumstances create hardship. In 2022, for example, we responded with a permanent salary adjustment of 7,500 EUR per full-time employee and a pro-rated amount for part-time staff. Such measures demonstrate that we do not view people as interchangeable production resources, but as the center of our success. Our salary bands are transparent and linked to the respective career level, which creates security and transparency.

 

Balancing Life and Work

For us, true family-friendliness isn’t just a marketing slogan—it’s a reality. We know that rigid work hours and mandatory office attendance often lead to stress in people’s personal lives. At QAware, there are no fixed requirements for working in the office. Each person chooses where to work based on their own judgment.

Whether it’s a free Wednesday morning or last-minute appointments at the pediatrician’s: as long as the project results are on track, there is maximum freedom in how you manage your time. We explicitly invite partners and children to our company parties in the summer and winter because family cohesion is important to us. This flexibility makes it possible to harmoniously combine personal needs and professional ambitions.
