QAware is supporting the IDEAchallenge 2026 as a sponsor and jury member

Innovative ideas need space, visibility, and people who support them.

That’s exactly why we’re thrilled that QAware had the opportunity to support the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences’ IDEAchallenge 2026 as a sponsor and jury member.

The IDEAchallenge brings together students who turn ideas into concrete concepts, prototypes, and pitches. This year, 23 projects were submitted by more than 30 participants.

For QAware, this involvement is an important part of our connection to Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences and the regional innovation ecosystem. Because when young people boldly push the boundaries of technological, social, and entrepreneurial thinking, they’re shaping the very future we want to help create.

A heartfelt thank you to the ROCkET Startup Center at TH Rosenheim for allowing us at QAware to be part of the jury. Mario-Leander Reimer, CTO at QAware, served on the jury and, together with the other jury members, evaluated the submitted ideas.

Six projects received awards:

Best Overall Concept

Emanuel Bessing with “Deon AI”- a solution that enables small business owners and SMEs to optimize their company websites with minimal effort and improve their online visibility.

Best Prototype

Maximilian Aberl with “Nerv”- an innovative and modular design element for flexibly structuring workspaces and common areas.

Greatest Impact

Elisabeth Steiner and Leonard Konrad with “Bau.Bio.Loop”- a circular economy-based solution for the textile industry and architecture that recycles textile waste.

Best Pitch

Julian Berndl with “InnoTrEst”- an innovative, sustainable, and circular flooring system for modern timber construction.

Best Idea

Lukas Pendi, Matthias Meierlohr, Jonas Hörter, and Markus Huber with “The Privacy Box”- a European solution for secure corporate communication through physical verification.

Audience Choice Award

Guy Mathieu Foko with “EigenKI”- a locally installed “AI in a Box” solution that doesn’t rely on external providers.

Congratulations to all the winners, and a big compliment to all participants for your ideas, your energy, and your entrepreneurial spirit.

It was wonderful for us to see just how much innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit is emerging at TH Rosenheim.
