In the following Thomas Feuster will present our experience with the introduction of KPIs in a large agile software project. As an IT project manager at QAware in Munich, Germany, he was responsible for the definition, usage and further development of KPIs for the last two years.
In a large agile software project we have introduced KPIs to measure and improve in certain aspects of our delivery. Together with our client we identified the focus areas were KPIs would be most beneficial. We have now tracked the KPIs for over two years. They have provided us with a different view of the project that has helped us to identify and address areas for improvement.
